Apigee hybrid Cassendra Multi region deployment - Time synchronized

As per link

Lists following

NOTE: Apigee recommends that you ensure that your servers' times are synchronized.

Several features such as expiration and token revocation rely on accurate system times. If you host the runtime components in different datacenters, then be sure that the system times are synchronized.

You can use a tool such as ntpdate to verify that server times are synchronized.

1) Does this means that for use case having 3 Cassendra ring in a region 1 residing in public cloud X and forming ring with another  3 Cassendra ring in region 2 (to another Data center), should have times synchronized ie to same time zone  and maintain same time ? for both all particiapting Cassendra ?

2) This states that, "Several features such as expiration and token revocation rely on accurate system times"

Thats the reason every Cassendra located across multiple region to form ring like connectivity ( 3 Cassendra in region 1 , say in public cloud x and  3 Cassendra in another data center) will maintain the same token expiration across all regions in several public clouds ? If such situation arises..

To clarify your question, are you trying to combine Apigee X with Apigee Hybrid? As you're referring to "public cloud X" and "another data center" or is this for multi region Apigee X scenario?

Note, that Apigee X and Hybrid would be separate organization, installations and run in isolation.

@dknezic this is Apigee Hybrid Cassendra ring (in public cloud X) connecting to apigee hybrid (Data center) Cassendra ring
