I am trying to set-up Alert rules in my apigee edge (on environment level). Below are my observations.:-
1.) I kept the alert types a s fixed and used the Status code as the filter condition( 5xx status)
2.) I am giving filter as - Rate >25% for 10 minutes .
3.) Now the thing is- I was hoping that the alert notifications will be triggered only when the entire duration is completed , only then the even and alert notification be triggered.
4.) But whats happening is , If i made 4 requests within a span of 2 minutes , I will get the notification then moment itself. Instead of waiting for the complete duration.
@apigee Any help here???
What I am trying to achieve here is- Suppose I keep the error for 5xx status code something like -
Rate -25% for 30 minutes
I should be getting the alert mail at the 30th minutes with the complete details of the no. of requests , fault code and other error analytics.
Is there any way I can achieve the above criteria.
