Apigee cloud to connect APIs hosted on AWS through internal endpoints

Hi,

We have all our services running in AWS. We want to publish the service APIs externally through Apigee. 

Apigee cloud -> AWS service internal endpoint (VPN)

We don't want to make AWS service endpoints public because it will defeat the purpose of API gateway. What is the ideal solution to achieve this? or from the security point of view are there better things which can be implemented.

Ideally you will use Apigee X, and then a VPN or other interconnect from Apigee X into your AWS VPC.
