Apigee Topologies doesn't list apigee SSO & its postgres for any number of nodes as a diagram

Option1 :One of article indicates install  Apigee sso on same node as Edge UI and Management Server.

Option 2: Another option of installing  apigee sso on seperate node 

Other notes lists: When it comes to multiple region with SSO,  Apigee doc indicates using postgres node separately for apigee-sso node.

Q1:Do we have any detailed diagram to refer using apigee-sso and its postgres node, when using 2 or 5 node topologies ?

Q2: Will postgres be installed separately for apigee-sso   when it comes to (2 topologies,  5 node, 9 node and 13 node topologies as well ?) . We are doing this for our practice hence would like to understand this better.
