Certificate pinning limits which certificates are considered valid for a particular website, reducing risk. Meaning, instead of allowing any trusted certificate to be used, operators "pin" the certificate authority (CA) issuer(s) or public keys. While certificate pining adds more security, it can be the source of issues if not used correctly.
Apigee does not support certificate pinning for *.apigee.com endpoints as these certificates are subject to change any time due to security reasons.
