APIGEE hybrid - Istio ingress gateway is not getting external ip

We are installing Apigee Hybrid on AWS. At "Step 3: Install ASM", we have run the commands and run the below command to verify that your install completed. 
Command: kubectl get svc -n istio-system

We haven't got any errors when the steps are run, but we have 2 issue:

  • For the service "istio-ingressgateway" the "EXTERNAL-IP" is showing <pending> instead of an IP
  • There is no "istiod" service

Kindly let us know if there is something that we nee t
