API call for component status

Is there any equivalent API call to get the components(RMP,CS,ZK etc) status ?

There is no api call to get a specific component status. There is an api call to check if a server is up and apigee-service to check the status of components on each server - but I guess you are already aware of this.

Could you elaborate on the usecase for which you would need an api call for component status ? We could explore if there are alternative ways to do the same.
