Setting Up Apigee Edge Development Environment and Building BDD-Mock Project Codelab

0 0 261

Warm welcome to old and new faces at this community!

As with any complex mature product, it takes time and deliberate effort to master Apigee Edge.

For many new users, Edge is yet another tool in their day-to-day work. Which frequently means there is little or no time to dedicate to the study of the product. We are trying to optimise your development learning experience. You already have plenty of materials to help you with this. Our superb documentation; our collection of API Jam Labs; Training on Coursera and Instructor-led training in the classroom... There are many Apigee github repositories that help you begin from a good starting point.

This lab is another way to help you start with useful first step-by-steps:

It takes time and some learning curve to set up a development environment for a person that begins her Apigee Edge journey. The purpose of this codelab is to ease the pain for both, Mac, Windows, and Linux users, especially with respect of enterprise environments where some additional attention to http(s) proxy configurations is required.

We also add a new BDD test and will run test requests using different http clients.

This CodeLab is a part of ALfA Advanced Labs for Apigee collection of materials to help you increase your knowledge and skill set at intermediate and advanced stages of learning Apigee Edge Cloud and OPDK product offerings.
