What's new in the Apigee documentation?

Howdy, documentation user!

tl;dr version

Up to now, we on the Apigee documentation team have been a bit unkind to you by making awesome doc updates and trusting that you'd just run into them, kind of like stepping on a dog toy in the middle of the night on your way to the bathroom. Sure, we'd make occasional, random, haphazard posts like this, but we're guessing you don't read and bookmark every Community article.

And for that unkindness, we're sorry. We're very sorry.

If you're like us, your trust meter plummets when you visit a product's official documentation and hit content that's unhelpful, or incomplete, or just wrong. (Not that ours ever falls into ANY of those categories! :] ) Then off you go to the Community, or Stack Overflow, swearing never to return to the docs for that type of content again--unless all else fails.

But here's the thing. We update the docs all the time, and we make corrections and improvements often because you were kind enough to hit the Send Docs Feedback link on a page and point something out, or because you asked a question in the Community that led to a product or doc improvement. Our content gets better because of you.

We at Apigee love you for that. Sincerely.

And to show our gratitude, we're making a new pact with you. Every two weeks we'll highlight notable changes we've made to the Apigee documentation at http://docs.apigee.com/whats-new-docs. No more midnight pet toys to step on (at least none that are sharp enough to break the skin).

As always, thanks for your comments and contributions, for using the Docs and Community, and for being an amazing Apigee user!
