OPDK Licensing Errors

Problem:

When installing a new message processor, we are receiving the following error:

Getting Message-Processor UUID

Registration UUID: a1b2c3d4-0123-xyz1--xxxx-uuidxxxxx

--> curl -X POST http://xx.xx.xx.xx:8080/v1/servers [...]

Continue anyhow y/(n) {

"code" : "MessageProcessorReachedMaxLimit",

"message" : "MessageProcessorReachedMaxLimit",

"contexts" : [ ]

}

==> 500

ERROR: Registration of message-processor failed.

Solution:

The error indicates that you have reached the maximum of message processors entitled by your license file. If you are using a trial license, you are limited to only 1 or 2 message processors. Production licenses, are based on the number of message processors you have purchased.

Please note that if your license expires, you may see the following errors in your. If you run into this management-server system.log file:

ERROR c.a.l.ScheduledLicenseValidator - ScheduledLicenseValidator.run() : Error occurred while validating license..

or:

ERROR c.a.l.ScheduledLicenseValidator - ScheduledLicenseValidator.run() : Error occurred while validating license.. ERROR c.a.l.ScheduledLicenseValidator - ScheduledLicenseValidator.run() : License expired !!!, Please contact Apigee support to renew it !!

Contact Apigee Support for questions about your OPDK license. You may need to work with Apigee Sales in order to purchases additional Message Processor if you are planning to install more Message Processors to handle additional capacity, or if you run into a license expiry issue.
