This video shows you how to create a routing rule on Apigee. The exercise is really simple. We are going to get a header parameter in the request and we are going to route the request to target based on the value header parameter.
By the end of video you should be able to create a routing rule and understand that routing to target can be based on any runtime variable. Here is a link to apigee docs for routing rule.
Hi Rajeev, I do not see the video attached for this topic and much appreciate if you could help ? I have a proxy target endpoint in the form of https://abc.com/v1/key:[sendKey]/sendMessage where the "sendKey" contain a 4 digits from the request header. Do you know how I can inject the sendKey value into the target endpoint ? I'd really appreciate f you could help.
