Currents search results missing in Cloud Search

Apparently, it's not possible to search Currents content in Cloud Search.

Is there any known workaround? Will it ever be available in Cloud Search?

We are trying to use Cloud Search as a unique point of access for searching our company data, and that's so far the only piece of information we can't search from there is Currents.
