Community Update: June Release Notes

As we begin July 2022, I want to share some updates our team has been working on for the past month (June):

• Notification Bell: We are pleased to release an improved notification experience centered around a new "Notification Bell," which sits directly to the left of your avatar on the top right corner of the screen. The number count of new notifications will be displayed as a red circle and number over the bell icon, as shown in the image below.
                                                  
  When you click on the Notification bell, rather than being taken to a new page, you'll see a dropdown displaying an activity feed with all your latest notifications (up to 10), including the date you received the notification. From there, you can quickly see all your latest notifications without having to leave your current page

• URL editing Icons: Fixed an issue where the URL editing icons were not displaying correctly in the text editor when drafting or editing a new post or reply
  
• From ‘Like’ to ‘Upvote’: Within Feature Ideas, we’ve changed the ‘Like’ functionality for posts and replies to ‘Upvote’
• Help text for preference options: Within “My Settings>Preferences>Preference Options,” added a hover over icon that provides help text to explain the impact of enabling or adjusting the various options
  
• Solution Accepted notifications: When there were multiple replies on a topic and only one was marked as a solution, each user that had a reply was getting a notification that their reply was marked as a solution. This has been fixed so only the person who commented with the accepted solution receives that notification.
  
• Adjusted edit post menu in AppSheet Feature Ideas: Fixed an issue where members were presented with duplicate options to ‘Edit Ideas’ when editing a post within Feature Ideas in the AppSheet Community.
  
• Removed extra space: On the Home page of the AppSheet Community, we removed the gray space between the Search/My Activity components and the Activity Feed
• Line spacing: Minor fix applied to line spacing issues on the Events page
