How to create ALERT in Apigee-X?

Hello folks,

I'd worked on Apigee Edge and now I'm preparing POC for migration from Apigee- Edge to Apigee-X.

Within the list of migration artifacts, I'm stuck with the alert part. As there is no option for setting up an alert in Apigee-X UI {which we're having in EDGE UI}.

Please help me with this, how can we set an alert for error codes on the proxy in Apigee-X.

Any kind of suggestion would be of great help.

Hi @abhishekchauhan alerting in Apigee X should now be configured on GCP Monitoring by creating Alert Policies and it sends the alerts to various notification channels like email, SMS, Slack, Pagerduty.

 

  • select the required metrics,
  • add a filter to ignore 2xx, 3xx response codes,
  • add threshold config,
  • select notification channel and
  • create the policy
