Hi, I see there was a question asked about 6 years ago about a similar topic, but it was in regards to moving an App from one Developer to another. We're interested in doing the same, but for an App owned by a Company, and want to see if the process is the same, to "transfer ownership" of an App from one Company to another. Based on what I'm seeing in the API docs for a Company App and in the portal itself, it seems like the same process would need to be used for a Company App, but wanted to confirm.
And if anyone has done this, any tips on implementation when using the Company Apps API? Since there is a delay between when you delete the app, and when you can successfully create a new one with the same name (and with a key with the same name), this makes things a bit difficult to do in a user interface. We could implement an asynchronous process that does the ownership reassignment, but this makes a much more complex workflow and user experience than we were hoping for. Instead of just one service call that deletes and recreates the app, we now need a service call to initiate the reassignment, another process to pick up that work and ensure it gets completed, and another to monitor the status (along with possibly a websocket or similar), so that the user can be notified that the reassignment is complete.
